Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Devilman Crybaby is ugly as sin with a story that meanders to nowhere and characters that you don't care about because you just don't know them. Although I thought the show did start to get better in the second half, it was too little too late for me. Because the first half forgoes any meaningful setup or explanation, the second half is unable to escape that "well that was okay I guess, but I probably should've spent my time watching something else" range. I gave it a 3 because some of the ideas were interesting, some of the characters seemed like they could've been okayif they were fleshed out more, and the soundtrack was okay, but that's about all I can say for it.
