Review of Pop Team Epic

For those who are wondering if they should see this anime, you need to first understand that this anime knows exactly what it's trying to be: a complete mishmash of out of this world randomness!!! If you go into this anime not understanding that, don't even waste your time because you will hate this series. Story: There isn't one. Not even joking. There are some segments that try hash out a quick self contained story and even that may conclude randomly. Animation/Art Design: The art style breaks away from the traditional anime style but also gives so many different variances of styles. This being a mishmashof randomness is also reflected in the animation as well.

Characters: Popuko and Pipimi are the main characters and are the prime focus of the series. They are here to carry along the memeable clusterfuck that is Poputepipikku.

Overall: 7/10 When i started this series, I was very weirded out by what was going on but I eventually grew into understanding that this anime is not meant to be taken seriously in the same light as something like Fullmetal Alchemist and that's ok. You can have the most out of line, far from left field craziness hurled at you within a 10 minute time frame and still pull some enjoyment out of it.
