Review of WataMote: No Matter How I Look At It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!

Watamote…. You were so, so ahead of your time. Would had been nice if it had come out today so it would have had a bigger impact and chance to have a season 2 instead of countless bare bones romances having one instead…. Is is the best? No. Was it bad? Ehh not really. It’s cringe but unlike all the other anime that pretend it’s normal to behave like Tomoko does, this anime is aware of its cringe, and that’s nice. Tomoko also has more personality than any of the generic SoL/ romance characters these days too. To sum it up. It’s cringe and itdoesn’t pretend that it’s not. XP This anime is okay.
