Review of A Place Further Than The Universe

(Prefacing this by saying I felt a deeper emotional connection Shirase, But I will still be objective and logical as i can be.) This is a truly beautiful anime. A fun story and great characters. Fairly stunning visuals, though the glossy look can be a little hard on the eyes. The soundtracks are outstanding. Though I said the visuals can be a little hard on the eyes, taking nothing away from just how stunning most of them are gorgeous... Simple yet to the point and very well done. My favorite element has got to be the characters though. Not just the main cast, but the supportingcast as well. Nobody feels forced or thrown in to pad story, everybody has a purpose. Finally the story and my overall enjoyment of the anime... The story is phenomenal, while slightly unrealistic (duh) It's extremely cute and heartfelt. Dealing with far more than just an adventure. But the loss of friends, death of loved ones, and the deeper meaning of friendship itself. I very much enjoyed this anime and bumped it from a 8-9 upon finishing the story. Episode 11 made me ugly cry. Highly recommend this show, whether you're a slice of life lover, adventure lover, or even just a fan of anime in general.
