Clover · review
Plot: 7.33/10 - Pretty straightforward, reader is able to understand when and what arc the manga is heading and when what or what not to expect. In other words it does a good job of keeping you hooked. However, on the grand scheme of things plot is pretty tame (compared to other delinquent mangas. Art Style: 9.88/10 - Very good no over all flaws its cool and unique, what else is there to say. Characters: 8.89/10 - High rating for characters, they are really cool. Atmosphere/Setting: 7.73/10 - Not as gritty as other delinquent mangas, up to the reader to what is considered as the standard and soClover has its own standard i guess.
Action/Fights: 7.99/10 - Again if we're comparing this with other delinquent mangas then I would say the fight and action scenes are pretty generic and nothing you've seen before, but it does get better as the story progresses.
Theme/Spirit: 8.23/10 - Yeah okay, very wholesome theme and message and what the manga is trying to convey.
Humor/Slice of Life: 7.79/10 - It has a fair amount yeah.
Culture: 9.43/10 - Sick af
Impact/Legacy: 7.11/10 - Yes, it's has it's own potential if/if not already reached
Total is 8.33 and it is very understandable if others readers rate it lower. However, i'm just really into the vibe and culture of mid 2000s furyos so overall I'd say it's peak so a 9, I really enjoyed it to the point that i'll be remembering certain things about this manga until I die. It's simple and fun go read it.
