THEY DON'T MAKE IT LIKE THEY USED TOO. Recently I've been enjoying myself in some of the antiques from the early 2000s and I have to say, it's disheartening. Aria in particular has come as an outstanding example of this era in Japanese culture. This story is in its purest sense a slice of life there's no action, just a story of girl with a dream. The pacing accommodates for the story's very laid-back nature and delivers some beautiful panels and vibes that make you love living life. The story is set with an almost unrealistically perfect society, but that's the charm. Characters live life attheir best, and that vibe is infectious. The characters charming, well designed, and ultimately make you fall in love with their story.

Now, Aria in many ways highlights also the downturn of a lot of slow and well-crafted narratives in manga and anime. This constant desire to attract to the larger short attention span audience, has left many high potential Mangas and Animes rush their exposition to keep audiences as engaged as possible. Demon Slayer in comparison to Aria highlights the industry's desire to make instant hits rather than making true classics.

Ignoring my rant, I give Aria 10000 Aquatic blue roses and 1001 nights of good dreams.
