"The world is always changing and for anime to survive it must evolve" This quote is from the book "Starting Point: 1979-1996" penned by the immensely talented Hayao Miyazaki. Who incidentally started his theatrical career with none other than Lupin. Part 5 exemplifies everything Good about Lupin and Gang and intertwines our modern society(even if parodied partially) into the World of Monkey Punch. After Part 4's less than favorable story and inclusion of less than interesting new characters...The stage was set for IMPROVEMENT and TMS showed they were up to the task. Without talking about the genius structure of the show, I can contently say thatany Lupin fan will enjoy the show.
