I thought it was very sad. I wish that there was more to it and it had a happy ending. The story relies a lot on metaphors to get a lot of the story across. I loved the art. It's very Korean, and I personally prefer that over the usual shojo manga style. Not much character development, but then it is a one shot. Even though it didn't give you a lot of details about the characters, the way it was written still enabled the reader to empathize with them, which was really a testament to the author's capabilities. I liked it, even though sadstories aren't usually my thing.
