Review of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
This is my first "review" on this site. THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION Code Geass has one of the worst endings i've seen, not the ending scene, but everything from ep 22 and onwards. I can't properly explain why i feel this way but I'll try my best. Episode 22 had a very weak and forced plot twist, the way Lelouch's Geass just suddenly became permanent and him saying "kill the japanese" in such a casual, joking way to Euphie. The moment Euphie mentioned how she was going to create this special zone for all japanese people my exitement dropped, i wanted CG to be about howLelouch starts out with nothing (although he has his Geass) and eventually works his way up to overthrowing the government using his smarts. Not how he gets boosted by plot convenience.
I can't say much about episodes 23-25 since i skipped through them, I watched a small bit off the final scene and it was good, but i didn't care about it.
Code Geass was amazing but the ending to an anime can sometimes make or break it, this time the ending broke it.
