Review of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009)

In the end, there were so many reasons for me to hate this, but I don't. There are places, especially one long stretch of episodes, where are you realize you're not going anywhere. Despite that, I still got through and enjoyed it to a degree. I definitely wouldn't put it on my rewatch list, but I don't regret watching it either. There was absolutely no lack of energy in any of it. It just happened to be enough to push the story along and keep it interesting. It's not a bad selection and I would suggest it, but I would have to preface it with theinformation and I've got here.
