Wacky and ridiculous. Really wanted to like this one since I'm a huge fan of the original Gundam and Macross TV series, but this was just painful to get through. It's impossible to take anything in this seriously when everyone is acting like a lunatic. Ridiculous slapping, punching, and kicking in every scene, it's as if they were trying to make Ranma 1/2 in the Gundam universe. The only likeable character is the fairy, but I'm afraid that's not enough to save the show. The story is painfully slow to get going. The first half seemingly has no direction at all. We simply follow aroundthese crazy kids as they attack everything in their path with zero repercussions. It's hard to even describe how absurd it is.
