Review of Sword Art Online

This is how I know I enjoy an anime: I can't stop thinking about it. I have to watch the entire thing to get it out of my head. I feel emotionally attached to the characters. This is what Sword Art Online was successful in doing for me. It could have been a perfect show, but it was unfortunate that a few shortcomings resulted in me giving it an 8/10. Its shortcomings were due to plot holes, an unrelatable main character, and rushed story. I felt that this could have been fleshed out a bit more, but I could understand how much effort must go intoan animation like this.

If you love shounens, you'll love this. Don't be turned away because it is a romance, either. I didn't expect to like this but the show has exposed me to the romance genre of anime which I appreciate greatly.
