Review of Hunter x Hunter

Story 10/10: I love how the story develops itself naturally, how gon keeps his goals throughout the series even though we can clearly see him mature as he face a few tribulations. Also the hunter universe is also very amusing, all the hunters have their specialties and their own story to tell and to direct their actions towards their purpose. Futhermore, all the arcs are extremely different from each other, I can remember hunter x hunter never ceased to impress me as I was watching each arc. Sound 8/10: I like all the sound effects and opening (even though I see they are very simillar to eachother). However, I just remember the ant arc ending, the other are pretty much forgettable, if it wasn't for this issue, I'd give hunterXhunter sound a 10, unfortunately it isn't, so it is a fair 8.

Art 9/10:

The art in HxH is very unique, I like how it changed throughout the series to suit the development of the story and the new characters. But in my opinion, the art in the hunter x hunter from 1999 is more charming than the 2011 series ( I prefer the art from the 90's tehe).

Characters 10/10:

From my story review we can tell that I think the characters are one of the high points of the series. Particularly, I love the development of the main characters: How gon learns the deal with his problems and remain his pureness and inocence. How killua learns to become a better person, free from his past and with a new mindset thanks to gon. And my favorite character, meruem, I like a lot how he learns to understand the humans and become more human throughout the process, it is very elegant!

Conclusion 9/10:

I think it deserves a ten, but, because of my opinions about the sounds and the comparison between the 90's and this series, I can guarantee it is a solid 9.

I would recommend this series to anyone, Brunão seal of aprovement.
