Review of Bakemonogatari

Ingles Since I got into the world of anime, I’ve always heard about Bakemonogatari and how amazing it was. It wasn’t until 2025 that I finally gave it a chance (partly because I couldn’t find it in good quality with proper subtitles), and wow, what a surprise! I came across an outstanding direction—magnificent, full of personality—accompanied by fantastic animation that perfectly matches the style of direction they wanted to deliver. If you have doubts, like I did, about starting this story, this season will clear them up. Personally, I really liked the characters in this work, starting with the protagonist and the supporting cast that appears as theepisodes go by. That said, it does feel like the story is just scratching the surface, like there’s still so much to uncover—and while that may bother some people, for me it’s the complete opposite. Highly recommended.

Desde que entré en el mundo del anime, siempre he escuchado de Bakemonogatari y lo genial que era. Hasta 2025 le he dado la oportunidad (también por el hecho de que no la encontraba en buena calidad y traducción) y ¡vaya sorpresa!

Me encontré con una dirección más que sobresaliente, magnífica, con muchísima personalidad, acompañada de una animación fantástica y muy acorde al tipo de dirección que quieren plasmar.

Si tienes dudas, como yo las tenía, de comenzar esta historia, esta temporada te las resolverá. Por mi parte, me han gustado los personajes que tiene la obra, comenzando con su protagonista y los secundarios que van apareciendo conforme avanza la serie. Eso sí, se siente que a la historia le falta aún mucho por mostrar, como si apenas rascara la superficie, y eso a algunas personas no les gusta. En mi caso, todo lo contrario. Recomendado.
