This show was such a good watch!! Keep in mind that it released in 2001. Many people would not want to watch it, thinking it's old and not worth it, but for its time the anime had a solid plot, well- made characters (of which the main ones have their own backstory and motivation) and intense matches and fights. The story never really goes how you would expect, so you never feel bored. I recommend watching a few episodes (that's what I did), and you'll definetely get hooked. Really, consider giving it a watch. I didn't want to include spoilers in this review but let's justsay every match is unpredictable..
