Review of Gintama

When I started watching Gintama I didn't really liked it at first, but after I watched couple of episodes I got hooked in I was watching 10-20 episodes a day. One really important thing to note about Gintama is that it gets funnier more anime you watch as it is parody anime more anime you know more jokes you understand. Story: 9/10 It is really hard to rate story part, because gintama mostly consists of small series which aren't connected to each other, at least first season. However, all of them are really funny and how something special in them. All of characters stories are told separately,but not instantly especially stories of main characters. For example, story of Gintoki is finally revealed in 5th season, but u can't say it is bad, it keeps mystery. Only "bad" part of Gintamas storyline is that it takes about 40 series for you to get into, but whenever you get into it you won't be able to keep your eyes off screen.

Art: 10/10
Painting of Gintama is really unique (for me at least) and when you watch couple of episodes you will understand what I mean. Also, greatest part of Gintamas art is faces of characters and I mean their expressions when something happens. I have watched every episode of Gintama and most memorable part is face expressions, for example disappointed face of Gintoki or evil face of Sougo you will understand everything when you will see it.

Sound: 9/10
Gintama has some soundtracks that are memorable, opening and ending themes are also pretty good. Audio part is great mostly focusing on comedy part of anime, it makes scenes funnier and more memorable. Only reason I rate sound part 9 is that it isn't really important for anime if adds flavor, but doesn't decide it like soundtracks do in Mushishi.

Characters: 10/10
Gintama has a lot of characters and all of them and unique. You have three main characters that are radically different from each other and then come supporting ones who fill gaps. But greatest part of Gintama are supporting characters some of them are really memorable and some people love them more then main ones. For example, Sougo whom is my favorite character in this anime. Shortly saying all characters have something to be loves except of Shinpachi who mostly does nothing, but it is also funny in its own way.

Enjoyment: 10/10
Gintama is one of those anime which takes time to get into it, but after 40-50 episodes it will become your favorite one. Gintamas increases its enjoyment level every episode it gets better and better. One really important thing in Gintama is its humor and if you don't understand it you won't like it, so it is really important to know Japanese, but if you don't know it don't worry there is seiyuus. These guys are gods and I highly recommend watching Gintama dubbed by seiyuus.

For some people Gintama is best anime ever, I can't agree or disagree with this. Everyone has anime which is best for them for me its Gintama and you will find your one too.

At the end I will say one thing if you love comedy anime and you watched some of them watch Gintama you won't get disappointed. One really important thing to note is that Gintama is parody anime and more anime you have watched more jokes you will understand.
