Review of High School of the Dead

-Spoiler(Kinda)- Now I wouldn't typically write a review for something I don't find a 10, but I believe this one deserves a review. Here's my opinion on the show, I'll keep it nice and short, but straight to the point. This show is enjoyable.. at times I guess you could say, there's some pretty interesting and exciting fights to watch, but most of the time this show involves boobs after boobs after underwear flashes. This show would be fun to watch behind all of the ecchi and fan service, this is borderline hentai next to High school DxD. The art for being made in 2010 isexceptionally well done, I liked all of the art on the characters which made it not so main stream design, but it's not a 10 in art for me because of the fact in majority of the fights fan service is present. This show has a strong sense of fan service and not only that, but not showing more depth into the story or finding a good solid base ground for the story to build off of. Nothing is explained besides families are in danger, an outbreak is present, and that no where is safe. No matter the circumstances this anime never ceases to show 0 story progression It almost feels like you're being thrown into a loop of rinse and repeat processes. Now you must be thinking it's not "that bad", but it really is they hardly show story progression, but more so focus on hentai from the looks of it. I'd say I would like to see a season 2, but it's hard to say that if there will be 10 clips of fan service an episode. If you composed all of the fan service this anime shows and put it into a video you'd have a full length phub video. The character development.. well there is none to be quite frank with you here. They just grow to suck the MC's dick that's about it. Therefore my rating on this show is a 3, I'd give it a 2, but because of the fighting that I could enjoy at times It's a 3.
