I don't usually write reviews and thus, don't have much experience in that. I loved the Disappearance so much, that I decided to express my admiration in a review. First time I watched this anime I didn’t know about Melancholy TV series, so I couldn’t fully enjoy it, however, I found it very beautiful and entertaining. That is how my “Haruhi spree” began. I watched all 28 episodes of melancholy twice in a row (except endless eight of course ^^). Then I could finally see the Disappearance in its full glory. The voices, visuals, characters are just marvelous. When it comes to music andsoundtracks I can’t imagine better choice than, say, Erik Satie’s Gymnopédie No.1 or Itsumo no fuukei which seamlessly complement already perfect graphics. And all of those things together provide a unique atmosphere that makes you watch it over and over again, makes you feel immersed in that world, so you never want to leave it.
One of the most memorable moments is (spoiler) when Kyon first time sees Haruhi in a changed world, how Haruhi show up, and how Kyon reacts. I guess those are my favorite minutes of Disappearance.
I totally recommend you this anime, regardless of your preferences.
