Review of Monster

I've been blown away by a few anime before, but none of those anime have even come close to the amount I was blown away while watching Monster. The plot of the story is probably the best I have experienced as it takes its time telling a deep, mature, emotion-packed adventure of not only Kenzo Tenma, but multiple other astonishing characters. Monster is riddled with themes that make you question a lot about life. For me, the themes were so perfectly executed that I began to see Johan's perspective (The show's so-called monster) of the world and really understood it. And that is terrifying. Lastly the charactersin the show are all perfectly executed. Yes- Johan is often considered one of the best villains in anime history. However he is not the only character that is jaw-dropping.

Admittedly, Monster can be quite slow at times meaning it probably isn't for everyone. However I can almost guarantee to anyone that finishes the series that they will absolutely love it.

Easily the best anime I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
