Review of Black Butler

This show was alright. It did not really stand out to me at all. The stories within the show do not always seem cohesive and bounce around. The backstory of Ciel is tragic which definitely makes you want to empathize with him and both of the main characters are super interesting. The ending in my opinion was super lackluster and very predictable. I heard such great things about this show and came out feeling kind of meh about it. The setting of the show and some of the subplots are genuinely really good but I did not experience all that I would have hoped fromthe series. I am certainly not going to deter others from watching but I would not put it at the top of recommendations at all.
