This is my first review in this website, so I'm sorry if I don't follow the typical guideline. I'll focus on the negative parts. It also contains spoilers. When I started watching this anime I expected something like Ano Hana rather focused on romance. And it kinda gave me those vibes. But as soon as I perceived the whole love chain, I started doubting. I felt that the main couple/pairing of the show was meaningless, just like one of those hundreds of animes where a foreigner girl appears or falls from the sky and everything changes in the life of the other characters , onlythat in this show, she spoils everything. I am not sure what the reason is, but I don't like the outcome of this love chain. The girl appear and the boy falls in love immediatly with her, for no reason. Then, it goes so smooth for the couple, so perfect, not caring about the others at all. And Kanna gets the short end of the stick. Anyway, Kaito doesn't deserve Kanna's love. And I don't feel bad for the end at all. You reap what you sow. Also, I didn't like the pose of "I'm fine as long as the person I love is smiling". It's just an excuse to fill the plot and feed the main couple's egoism.

And the worst part is the "Oh, yeah, this summer was fantastic". Yes, it was fantastic for the main couple, but not that good for the others.

So, basically, I think that Ichika, and the whole sci-fi thing, is an extra.
