Review of School Days

I'm gonna hafta agree with Ceptryn on this one: This anime does take a very special person to enjoy it. I don't really have a huge review/reaction planned, since this is the first one i'll be writing for Myanimelist.net...but i'll try and get the message through. This series, from episodes 1 to about 6 or 7, was one of the most enjoyable series i've ever seen. The sterotypical love story with the close friend watching in envy. The mutual love that Makoto and Katsura share at first is pretty cute, but the feeling I got didn't last too long once I got to reallyknow Makoto's personality and realise what a pig he is.

When Makoto started to shift his feelings toward Sekai, that's when I started to really love this series. Everything seemed kinda perfect...I could tell from the beginning that Katura and Makoto weren't a great couple (imo), and thought from the start that Sekai should be Makoto.

....but somewhere along the way....particularily when Makoto started becoming non-committal and sleeping around + getting caught after the fact, I just started to feel horribly depressed and had a EXTREMELY hard time finishing the series. /wrists XD
pretty much up down up down bi-polar-ness in an anime.

This was pretty hard to come up with a rating for and im still a bit confused and distrubed by how this series turned out, so i apoligize if i've wasted your time.
