I've actually heard about Black Lagoon a long time ago when it was mentioned to me as a good show to watch coming out of Cowboy Bebop, but I never got around to actually watching it at all and kinda forgot about it after that. Then I saw it again in a Recommended Anime list and i decided to watch the whole series dub. Black Lagoon opens with a Japanese businessman named Rokuro (Gets called Rock from here on out) getting constantly kicked around by his higher-ups. But this very quickly ends as, on a business trip to the south pacific, he gets captured and heldfor ransom by a group of pirates labelled simply as the "Lagoon Company" composed of a black Vietnam vet, Bob Hackerman, and an edgy teenager's dream of a girl called Revy, who is responsible for the decision to hold Rock for ransom to get some extra cash.
The character's in this is amazing because instead of focusing with one character they focus with variety of characters that doesn't make us too confused about.

The action and fights in this anime is one of the best one's I've seen, it's not like the whole story is crap and the fighting is good unlike some anime's. In Black Lagoon the story with each character, the plot and the fighting scenes is something that i would re-watch.

Black Lagoon includes a considerable amount of graphic violence, often involving violent gun fights. Many of the characters who are most skilled with weapons (mainly guns) are women, thereby bearing a similarity with "girls-with-guns" genre with the six strongest women in the series attach to some type of stereotype (dragon lady, referring to Revy, maids, referring to Roberta and Fabiola, nuns, referring to Eda, etc.). Some of the scenes and dialogue are within the realm of dark comedy, as humorous moments occur or are mentioned during and after many violent battles.

Now would i recommend this? Yes it's really something that will amaze you everything in this is amazing, character's, plot, the violence throughout the series, jokes, and the scenery.
