Review of Junjo Romantica

Alright, before some yaoi fangirl strangles me to death for writing this review, first listen to the reasons. junjou romantica is an extremely popular anime in the shounen-ai genre. However, it isn't as good as you might think. The art is crappy, the characters are very sappy and romancy (in other words, they make you wanna puke.) Please note, the review up till now is spoiler free but i'm getting in to detail below. Not many spoilers are mentioned though. **SPOILER WARNING** The relationship between characters is given below: 1) Misaki and Usami: Misaki and Usami's relationship could've been better. If they had not included the whopping ten-year age gap, andnot included various 'rape' elements. When Misaki first meets Usami, he gets sexually abused by him, for waking him up from his sleep when he TRIES to confront him about why he writes about sex between both of them.

What the actual crap.

CHARACTER OF MISAKI:
Misaki is a very stupid character, in general. He lives with Usami after his brother moves away and often has sex with him. Literally every episode has steamy sex in it. NO story development, nothing. What ticks me off, is that once he bangs him, he's like 'I don't wanna do it' and then after two seconds changes his mind. What's more? he is very stupid and often doe the most cliche things ever. Like go on a friendly 'date' with someone knowing that Usami is going friggin jealous.

I actually don't know why I saw this anime. For BL fans this might be a gem, but for me? well it's stupid AF
