Review of Redline
Story Okay story wise Redline is a little on the short side, basically the plot revolves around the ultimate race known as "Redline" and there is an evil military hoping to stop the race. This is seemingly a basic synopsis sure however as the story progresses a large quantity of plot holes tend to unfold which makes this film lack in overall story telling, though to be fair this film is exactly recognized for it's coherent plot. - 6 out of 10 Characters In Redline we follow our main character JP and very attractive love interest Sonoshee McLaren as they both are contestants in the race, JP isa typical cool bad-ass character filled with snappy one liners and the skills to boot, he has dreamed of becoming a racer and winning in the races. While Sonoshee is basically the same only more female, the supporting cast is nothing to talk about as they all represent their own typical cliche archetypes and have no real relevancy to the plot other than the fact they are participating in the race.

Sound/Music
The soundtrack is very fitting as it suits well with the intense moments in the Anime which truly elevate the overall experience, it makes a very good use of electronic music which contain a lot of up beat and high tempo sounds which complement the stunning visuals. As for the subs vs. dubs debate on this i cannot judge as i have only seen the dub, however the dub is rather good in my opinion and deserves a watch nonetheless.

Art/Animation
This is the reason people watch this film, development of Redline spanned over a 7 year time period and it shows in the stunning animation. The animation of Redline is simply superb and cannot be matched by anything else to date, in my opinion it is simply one of if not the best animated film in history. What's more impressive is the fact that everything is hand drawn and none of the visuals were rendered in CG, this Anime only has a unique style to it giving off a feeling of pure epicness every time.

Enjoyment
If you want an Anime with a consistent plot and well written character development throughout then you would definitely love Fate/Zero, but if you want and Anime with a high octane soundtrack mixed with epic visual animation then Redline is the Anime for you.
