Review of Natsume's Book of Friends

This show is absolutely beautiful. The story is amazing and they somehow manage to fit a ton of drama into just one episode. It is mostly episodic like Mushi-shi and Hell Girl but the story is more that of XxxHolic. This is definetly one of my new favorite shows. The main character Natsume Takeshi is able to see spirits and inherited the "Book of Friends" from his grandmother. This book is filled with contracts, manifested as names, she made with spirits to basically be her servants. Some of the spirits just want their names back but others wish to steal the Book of friends fromhim so they can control those spirits with names inside.
