Review of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo

Definitely the weakest out of the rebuilds so far, had a insanely interesting premise taking place after the events of the previous film but the execution of it all was very lack luster. All of the mystery surrounding this timelines events are either answered expository or never lead anywhere significant. The relationship between Shinji and Kaworu is a lot more fleshed out here but still seems to not have the same impact that Kaworu originally left. The art is the best its looked throughout these films as well as the soundtrack carrying the same amount of emotional weight behind its scenes. Shinji's character seems tohave been pushed to his absolute limit and i'm very interested to see what the consequences of his actions will be in the final film
