Review of Katanagatari

Probably one of the best anime i have seen so far. I've already watched it til episode 8 and i started to have doubts and eventually dropped it almost a year ago after learning what happens next, although, i had already forseen whats going to happen even with that in mind i can't prepare myself, i'm a sucker at this kind of stuff i can't take it, it is not what i expected at first. But i still manage to watch it til the very end after a year of mustering up my courage, but, i can't help my self not to well up. Butgladly i did and was very satisfied.

As for the story and characters itself, well it's about a girl named Togame, a small weak fragile girl with a very short temperament shouting "cheerio" (not knowing what that really meant) as she burst out, but also she has some redeeming qualities, she is very beautiful with a long white hair (which makes her very cute) a very smart (a self proclaimed strategist) yet sometimes she can be very clumsy and gets really flusttered towards a certain someone and sometimes gets really jealous which is very kawaii to look at. She sets out to find the 12 legendary deviant swords for the Shogunate with her personal intentions hidden beneath her joyfull facade, unkowingly she stumbles upon the very strongest of them all Yasuri, Shichika the final and most perfect weapon ever made. Yasuri is a man with no knowledge of whatsover who lived alone with his sister in an island from the moment he was born, he doesn't feel love nor hate or even distinguish/differentiate the sex of a person wether if its a girl or a boy, he doesn't get aroused in front of a naked woman. he is by far naive but yet pretty much observant and aware of his surroundings. The likely pair with their unique set of qualities set out on an adventure full of adventures making history for themselves not knowing what lies ahead of them.

Art and Animation, its very unique with its own originality i love the character designs i love how they blend the dark colors with thick lines, but as for the animation it's sub par to any action/adventure anime i know.

Music is great, it feels like i was really there in japan in that era it's very mesmerizing

Over all i'd give it a 10 because i enjoyed it very much.
