Review of Katanagatari

Roughly 10 hours of great artwork. Katanagatari was a beautifully drawn show about a swordsman who doesn't use a sword. Almost everyone on the main cast shines with a prismatic sense of character. Albeit some of them are very simple in nature. The music complimented the mood and tone of scenes. My biggest issue with the show was the pacing at times. Given that every episode is about 50 minutes I went into this expecting every second to be exciting and that might be too high of an expextation but it was disappointing nonetheless when the story slowed down. The true higlight was theamazing climax. Overall, id reccomend this show to people who like action or samurai shows. Also best girl was pretty great.
