Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

Snow Angel is a pretty unique story that suffers from it's length. A very interesting premise being resolved swiftly (in just 15 chapters as 3 of the chapters are bonuses) and that causes the story to feel bland and forced, even inhumane by some standards considering how quickly some matters are resolved for the protagonists for the sake of the story's progress. Still I recommend this series. Due to it's length it's a quick read and even with it's rushed conclusion the story is interesting and unique enough to catch one's attention while also being somewhat of a fun read at times in some chapters.Next I explain in more detail why I gave this score in a bit more detail. If you wish to read the story I'd suggest you go in blind since it'll give your experience a bit more value.

REASONING
(SPOILERS AHEAD):

The first arc with Muku leaving her house due to the conditions of her family life and her "drowning" mental state as it's usually portrayed in the story is a fine bit and I think makes for a good opening and I wish it would've been the whole story. This part is concise and well put despite the difficult topic of the guilt about "betraying one's family" as Muku sees this situation by leaving them behind to live her own life.
Here's the problem though the second part about Yuto killing Muku's dad needed a lot more time to breathe, and by time I mean chapters. While I can understand Muku's decision to persuade Yuto to not turn himself in, the way the story moves after that is at best irrational. We don't really experience any of the consequences such a confession would have on either party, instead we just run to find a solution as if it's an error on a review and we can go back and fix it. The idea of bringing back the grandma and mother to help as well as the demeanour of both women is baffling to say the least, considering just a few chapters back the environment was suffocating for both parties. The conclusion to the manga is about what I would have expected but it felt far fetched and premature.
