Sugar Dog Life · review
"Sugar Dog Life" is such a little treat of a read with one of the most adorable pairings ever. Isumi is full of personality and a joy to watch navigate his feelings for Amasawa. The simple premise and plot lends itself well to the manga's strongest point: it's ability to put a smile on your face. Most of the plot follows Isumi and Amasawa bonding when Isumi needs a place to stay after his apartment needs to undergo construction, and their dynamic is adorably sweet - Isumi who is sparky, a little impish and a good cook and Amasawa who is calm and gentle withhim, and also loves Isumi's cooking.
It's the kind of read you can't put down, and you know just from going into it that the story will be entertaining and charming. The characters distinct personalities work well with the feel-good story, the art is phenomenal, and if you're looking for something so cute and sweet it'll make you grin every panel give "Sugar Dog Life" your attention.
