This rushed mess is weighed down by how much it has to get through in the short amount of time as well as bizarre writing. Not only is this super rookie new rival a brain damaged shonen hero (if you’re going to be someone’s rival, at least get their damn name right and don’t try and throw a tantrum when you don’t get your way) but what are these umpires doing when someone plays tennis violently enough to cover a child and the court in blood!? The Prince of Tennis on a larger whole has suffered from the fact that people are allowed to brutallyinjure others with tennis and not suffer any consequences.
