Review of Fire Force Season 2

When I was watching the first season of Fire Force I couldn't stand the overall weirdness the show gave,and I ended droping it after the first 6 episodes.But eventually season 2 was announced and I forced myself to give it another shot,and heck I enjoyed it and I had a lot of expectations going into this second season;But Alas,it wasn't nearly as good as I expected it to be. Story: The first season set up a good base for a really solid plot,but the second season failed to expand on it in a way that can intrigue the viewers and keep them dying to know thetruth about the Evangelist.The reason for that was caused by the minor and spaced out plot reveals that you can easily forget after watching the show in a weekly basis.
Overall it gets a 4/10
Characters:
This is the only thing that the second season managed to do better than the first one,to avoid spoilers I'll just say that I liked the character development even tho it wasn't the most original
Overall it gets a 7/10
Sound:
The openings,the soudtrack,the voice acting are some of the best among the modern shonens,and even tho they're worse than season 1 it still gets a solid 8.5/10
Animation:
This was the most major dissapointement I had for this second season since it really doesnt pop out nearly as much as it predecessor did,but that's understandable due to the virus and all.
Even tho the Sakuga wasn't as good but it gets a 7/10 for the oozing style and love the animators put into it.
Enjoyment:
All in all,I still enjoyed this season as much as I did with the first due to me already being familiarized with the show and I'd give it an 8/10
Overall:
I will give this season a 7/10 even tho it feels more like a 6 to me but I still have hope in this show,so I'll keep the rating as it is for the time being and see if the character development and the plot reveals will be used well in the upcoming season.
