Review of [Oshi No Ko]

Burdened with a glorious purpose again. This anime probably has the best opening episode in the history of anime opening episode. It didn’t top FMAB for a short while for a reason. It set up the stake of the story while opening up the world of young idol industry. It was beautiful yet brutal at the same time. Of course the subsequent episodes were not as amazing as the opening episode, but I loved how it explored the industry in Japan. The characters came from different backgrounds, and there’s clear vision on showing the struggle that each of these characters had to go through. The stress thatthese characters had is not uncommon, but it’s important here because these characters are just high school kids.

The animation is another standout. All the main characters look like they just came from the star guardians. Whenever they said they are ugly, I’m like “no you’re not.”

Overall, an amazing anime, and the second season is gonna be great. 8-8.5/10
