Review of I'm Standing on a Million Lives

The Promise of the Future is Stronger than the Present. This first season definitely has its moments and by the end, you can see that the continuation will be more interesting, but it hurts that in between these interesting moments is a fairly standard anime that stays longer than you'd expect. The premise is interesting enough with characters being summoned to another world, but every time they're summoned they have to complete a quest and they'll be a new member added to the party with each level. This season was mostly world-building and character foundation as we're introduced to some side characters as well as the powersystem. By the time the finale came many of the mysteries of the show were brought to light.

The show had some really good quiet character moments, but because of that the overall story, especially their level 3 quest, felt slow. It feels very standard with a lot of promise. I'm interested to see where they go from here.
