Patalliro! Stardust Keikaku · review
I recently finished the Patalliro anime and immediately wanted to watch this movie because i really liked the show. This movie serves as a continuation of the events of the anime and I really liked that the plot taking advantage of a certain character that appeared during the first episodes of the anime and will be important throughout the film (this review will be spoiler-free so feel free to read it). I was also quite surprised that the intro song was made by the mangaka Mineo Maya himself and the truth is that it really captures the essence of the manga and the animation and artworkis pretty good as the anime ones ofc . As for the plot of this movie, I thought it was good since it maintains the classic atmosphere of the manga with their absurd humor and Patalliro's typical jokes that I'm not going to lie if they make me laugh a lot. The participation of Bancoran and Maraich seemed excellent to me (I love this couple very much) and I really appreciated every romantic moment of the two of them that they show us on screen, implying how they are an important part of the plot too. The other characters like Plasma X, the Tamanegi team, Patalliro's mother and Bancoran's boss also appear but are very secondary, which I understand because the movie was not long enough to give them more participation, just think that it felt like watching two episodes of Patalliro in a row and added that they had to give screen time to other characters or specific events. Anyways, I found the resolution funny and worthy of any other random episode of the show. It's really worth watching to pass the time if you were left wanting more, without a doubt a good movie as I expected. Now I'm looking forward to continuing reading the manga for more adventures with Patalliro and the rest of the cast.
