Review of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online

Honestly, the show is very enjoyable if you like action in general. The show mainly focuses on the action rather than the story, where the story is not hard to comprehend at all. To me, that's a good thing, where it doesn't try to overcomplicate things. I would definitely take this over the original Sword Art Online storyline any day. The sound is great, where it really complements the action scenes. The music is also enjoyable, where the EP is easily one of my favorites. Characters are whatever, I only really liked the MC (Karen) and her friend (Miyu). The art was good, for themost part, it was consistent. My only complaint was like one episode that had bad CG, that particular scene did take away from my emersion in the action. Even with that complaint, it wasn't enough for me to not enjoy the show.

Overall, I had a lot more fun watching this show than I thought I would have. The show had great action, a great soundtrack, and even a likable MC. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those who did not like the original Sword Art Online story since this is a totally separate story from that.
