Review of A Lull in the Sea

I myself always think that when it comes to fantasy, I'm not really a fan of it but not for this anime right here. I can say this will go at the number one spot in my favorite fantasy/romance anime to watch and once again, I'm just a romance anime fan but not an otaku. Story : I'm not really a fan of fantasy but this fantasy/romance anime here, was easy to understand and I end up watching all of 'em without me realizing it. The story is about two groups, one that lives in the sea and one that lives on land. 4 childhood friends goingthrough their lives whilst the sea and the land having their own disputes towards each other. Although I'd like to say that this anime was quite unexpected actually. Usually most anime goes with a main characters and some characters around him/her but not this anime. It's hard to say which one is actually the main character since all of them are in it. The romance in this, I just love it. Love triangle? Nah, I'd say, "Love that is quite a lot of angles to look upon". But still, I really wish that this anime will produce another sequel for this series. Although the ending was epic but still it might be better to have more on something like this.

Art :
Art? I love the sea's art. It feels real like I don't think that's animation though. But still, it appears to be great to look and enjoy upon. This is the kind of art that I want.

Sound :
I love the music. It feels like the music is actually perfect for the series. The OP and ED is great, like Ray - Ebb and Flow, before I watched this, I thought the Ebb and Flow song was just a soft song to enjoy in the winter or to relax with. But quite to my surprise, this actually quite a sad upbeat song that was used after 5 years later of hibernation in the series. But still, unfortunately the songs that were used in the series only sounds good within the series. But when you try to listen it as an entertainment or like individually, the songs doesn't really enjoyed too much but still good to my ears. Yeah still, the music's good and perfect for the series.

Character :
Characters huh? I'd say each of them are just perfect. "Manaka has round cute eyes", happens to be my thought every time I saw her in the series. I don't think I have much to say in this because I don't see any flaws in the characters. It's just perfect

Enjoyment :
As a guy who actually not really fond of fantasy/romance anime, I'd say I enjoy watching this. It's not too stressful despite being a drama series too. I can say that this anime is good for those of you are like me, who hunts for only romance anime. No ecchi, pure romance and great storyline.

Overall :
I wish I could give a ten but I didn't because I believe that this anime will go better than this. I personally put this for a ten but I put 9 because there are some flaws but still acceptable. For those of you are romance anime fan like me, I'd say go for it. Watch this anime and save this anime for last. The best is keep for last.
