Review of Dororo

I'll start by saying that I expected a lot of dororo, after all, it was one of the works that inspired the creation of my favorite work, berserk, and he was not disappointing until near the middle of the anime, but then, probably because of studio problems, anime decayed a lot, both in animation and in the plot, with loose and anti-climatic episodes. Dororo talks about a boy who was used as a sacrifice for his own to save his kingdom, the land of Daigo, ends up being saved by a man who creates prosthetics and after a few years leaves on his journey, andin that search for the demons that took parts of his body, he meets Dororo, a child of paramount importance in history. The anime began in an exceptional way, bringing a sad story and characters that created an excellent contrast between them, in this case are Dororo and Hyakkimaru, our protagonists, while Dororo was a happy child to the bustling, Hyakkimaru was a "doll" that only sought to claim his body, which had been taken over by a covenant, one of the main strengths of the work was what happened when Hyakkimaru recovered a part of the body, that for every demon that had devoured a part of his dead body, something in the land of Daigo would die , be they forests, plantations, fish and wars and diseases, as well as dealing with the difficulties to adapt to something he had never owned, making the anime much more interesting, showing how he would adapt to the episodes (but this idea is thrown out after a few episodes), another important point was how Dororo molded Hyakkimaru through his innocence and his devotion to help his Aniki, making Hyakkimaru better understand the feelings he could not express. Over time, other characters that serve as "steps" for the development of both protagonists appear, among them is the emblematic monk, Biwamaru, a blind musician and master swordsman, his relevance in the work is to appear sometimes to clarify some points in the story and help when possible probably the main information they do not convey is the similarity between Hyakkimaru's spirit and the demons, which made me think a lot about what could happen to Hyakkimaru in the course of the play, there is also his brother, Tahoumaru, creating a deadly rivalry between the two, being Hyakkimaru the firstborn that was left to death and Tahoumaru that grew surrounded by love, except by the one of his mother, creating even more hatred of him towards his brother. Another character with a relevance, but only for Dororo, is Itachi, an ex-subordinate of his father, who after betraying him, seeks a "treasure" that belonged to Dororo's father.
I will highlight here some moments of the anime that were spectacular in both plot and animation, so there will be spoilers, watch out. The first moment is when Hyakkimaru begins to feel carnal love for another person, a peasant woman who prostituted itself to help the children orphaned by a war, she ends up being killed, along with the children, for being working for both sides of this same war, and Hyakkimaru in a fit of rage massacres each of the soldiers, creating a brutal and melancholy scene. The episode in which he knows his family, and soon after is denied by them, who treat him as only an offering, the most shocking scene is when his mother denies him and soon after tries to kill himself, creating a climate of sadness and shocking despair in the midst of all that scenery. And the last is when Hyakkimaru is attacked by a demon that with the help of a human lures people to death, this episode is spectacular for two reasons: 1st, Hyakkimaru has his will to recover his body renewed trying to save Dororo, but by not having his arms, he can not (causing the Monk to appear and save Dororo), and the 2nd happens when he leaves to kill that same devil, destroying and rolling his flesh in search of the parts of his body and not obtaining nothing, which refers to what the monk had said about Hyakkimaru if he looked very much like a demon. Even with so many problems during production, the anime managed to convey good messages to the public, such as: the meaning of revenge, brotherhood, and the concept of family. And this is being shown throughout anime in a variety of ways, but only takes shape when the two protagonists end up separating, making their own mini-arcs develop, Hyakkimaru reviews the man who saved him and begins to understand the meaning of family with a good dialogue about why he wants his body back, Dororo is already kidnapped by his father's men, and ends up finding out more about his past. When the two meet again they end up creating a beautiful, exciting and satisfying moment. * Comments on the end, go at your own risk *. I'll go straight and say that I was hoping for more of the end, while all that mystery about the ultimate demon concluded in a disappointing way, in which he "kills" him by destroying a crystal that appears out of nowhere (I imagined that the devil would assume a form when devouring the Tahoumaru, and thus creating a final epic but,..) besides Hyakkimaru simply disappear, leaving Dororo as a child back with people he barely knew, not developing Hyakkimaru's demonic aura, so that in the end they could only give a preview of the future, I sincerely expected a grand conclusion, to make up for so many problems and errors up to that point. (PT-Br) Vou começar falando que eu esperava muito de dororo, afinal, ele foi umas das obras que inspiraram a criação da minha obra favorita, berserk, e ele não estava decepcionando até perto da metade do anime, mas então, provavelmente por problemas do estúdio, o anime decaiu muito, tanto em animação, quanto no enredo, com episódios soltos e anti-climáticos. Dororo fala sobre um garoto que foi usado como sacrifício pelo seu próprio para salvar seu reino, a terra de Daigo, acaba por ser salvo por homem que cria próteses e após alguns anos sai em sua jornada, e nessa busca pelos demônios que tiraram partes de seu corpo, ele conhece Dororo, uma criança de suma importância na história. O anime começou de forma excepcional, trazendo uma história triste e personagens que criavam um contraste excelente entre si, neste caso são Dororo e Hyakkimaru, nossas protagonistas, enquanto Dororo era uma criança alegre a agitada, Hyakkimaru era um "boneco" que buscava somente reivindicar seu corpo, que fora tomado por um pacto, um dos principais pontos positivos da obra era o que acontecia quando Hyakkimaru recuperava uma parte do corpo, acabava que para cada demônio que havia devorado uma parte de seu corpo morto, algo na terra de Daigo morreria, sejam elas florestas, plantações, peixes e viriam guerras e doenças, além de também tratar da dificuldades para se adaptar a algo que nunca havia possuído, tornando o anime muito mais interessante, mostrando como ele iria se adaptar ao decorrer dos episódios (mas essa ideia é jogada fora depois de alguns episódios), outro ponto importante era como Dororo moldava Hyakkimaru através da sua inocência e sua devoção em ajudar seu Aniki, fazendo Hyakkimaru entender melhor os sentimentos que não conseguia expressar. Com o tempo, começam a aparecer outros personagens que servem como "degraus" para o desenvolvimento de ambas protagonistas, entre eles, está o emblemático monge, Biwamaru, um músico cego e mestre espadachim, a relevância dele na obra é aparecer as vezes para esclarecer alguns pontos na história e ajudar quando possível, provavelmente, a principal informação que eles no transmite é a similaridade entre o espirito de Hyakkimaru e os demônios, o que me fez pensar muito no que poderia acontecer com Hyakkimaru ao decorrer da obra, há tamém seu irmão, Tahoumaru, criando uma rivalidade mortal entre os dois, sendo Hyakkimaru o primogênito que foi deixado para morte e Tahoumaru que cresceu rodeado por amor, exceto pelo de sua mãe, criando ainda mais ódio dele para com seu irmão. Outro personagem com uma relevância, mas somente para Dororo, é Itachi, um ex-subordinado de seu pai, que após trai-lo, busca um "tesouro" que pertencia ao pai de dororo.
Vou destacar aqui alguns momentos do anime que foram espetaculares tanto em enredo quanto em animação, então haverão spoilers, cuidado. O primeiro momento é quando Hyakkimaru começa a sentir amor carnal por outra pessoa, uma camponesa que se prostituía-se para ajudar as crianças órfãs por causa de uma guerra, ela acaba sendo morta, juntamente com as crianças, por estar trabalhando para os dois lados desta mesma guerra, e Hyakkimaru em um acesso de raiva massacra cada um dos soldados, criando uma cena brutal e melancólica. O episódio em que ele conhece sua família, e logo após é renegado pelos mesmos, que o tratam como somente uma oferenda, a cena mais impactante é quando sua mãe o renega e logo após tenta se matar, criando um clima de tristeza e desespero impactante em meio a todo aquele cenário. E o último é quando Hyakkimaru é atacado por um demônio que com a ajuda de um humano atraia as pessoas para a morte, esse episódio é espetacular por dois motivos: 1°, Hyakkimaru tem sua vontade em recuperar seu corpo renovada ao tentar salvar Dororo, mas por não ter seus braços, não consegue (fazendo com que o Monge apareça e salve Dororo), e a 2°acontece quando ele parte para matar esse mesmo demônio, o destroçando e revirando sua carne em busca das partes de seu corpo e não obtendo nada, o que remete ao que o monge havia falado sobre Hyakkimaru se parecer muito com um demônio. Mesmo com tantos problemas durante a produção, o anime conseguiu transmitir boas mensagens ao público, tais como: o significado de vingança, irmandade e o conceito de família. E isso vai sendo mostrado ao longo anime de diversas formas, mas só toma forma de fato quando as duas protagonistas acabam se separando, fazendo seus próprios mini-arcos desenvolverem, Hyakkimaru revê o homem que o salvou e começa a entender o significado de família com um bom diálogo sobre o porque dele querer seu corpo de volta, já Dororo é raptada pelos homens de seu pai, e acaba descobrindo mais sobre o seu passado. Quando os dois se reencontram acabam criando um belo momento, emocionante e satisfatório. *Comentários sobre o final, siga por sua conta e risco*. Vou ser direto e falar que esperava mais do final, enquanto todo aquele mistério sobre o último demônio se concluía de forma, digamos, decepcionante, em que ele o "mata" destruindo um cristal que aparece do nada (imaginei que o demônio assumiria uma forma ao devorar o Tahoumaru, e assim criando um último embate épico, mas..) além de Hyakkimaru simplesmente sumir, deixando Dororo ainda criança para trás, com pessoas que ele mal conhecia, não desenvolvendo a aura demoníaca de Hyakkimaru, para no final darem somente uma prévia do futuro, eu sinceramente esperava uma conclusão grandiosa, para compensar tantos problemas e erros até aquele momento.
