Durarara!!x2 Shou: Watashi no Kokoro wa Nabe Moyou is a wonderful addition to a great series. To be perfectly honest this special is not needed. You can watch the main series and not miss anything major-HOWEVER just because it is not needed to progress the story does not necessarily mean its not enjoyable. In fact I'd have to say I really enjoyed this special. What stands out first and foremost in Durarara is the characters-and this special perfectly highlights the characters that make Durarara so great. You spend the majority of the episode learning more about the backstory of several of the characters as they sitaround a hotpot.

If you are a fan I say this special is a must watch.
