Review of No Game, No Life: Zero

I will say that I did read the novels 1-6 of NGNL and I must say that other than the beautiful animation... this film lacked a lot of what made me love the original novel (6). 1. the soundtrack did its job but, It felt as if it could have been much better, it was lacking in variety. 2. the story and pacing of the film were rushed af. not only did they downright remove many scenes from the novel. but the war god himself: Artosh was not given the treatment he deserved. he got one line in the whole movie despite being very important to theoriginal story. its not like hes the most powerful god there or anything. They couldn't even do the conclusion properly ffs.

now that that is said. even after this I still enjoyed the movie even if it was rushed. If you haven't read the novels up to the sixth volume I believe that you'll still enjoy it.
