Review of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.

This is the most average, run of the mill isekai i've ever tried to watch. There is no conflict. Everything is handed to the MC on a silver platter. The characters are almost as shallow and weak as the story. Even if it's a parody, it's not a good one. If they're "making fun of the formula" by being the most predictable and uninteresting series, I'd just skip the semantics and call that a bad anime. The art is decent, sound effects are average, but it's all for naught because there's no meat on its' bones. Wanted to like it, but it's just so threadbare that there'snot much to watch.. Even arifueta was better than this, and that's saying something.
