Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

This is the first anime where I can say I've read the manga before the anime came out, but unlike those who say that, I can say the anime is so much better. With the anime you can feel the emotional weight to every moment in the show, and the beautiful animation does not disappoint, and is on par with the beautiful art of the manga. The story about Frieren is truly beautiful, and shows someone trying to understand human emotion and relieve her best memories she had on the journey with the heroes party. It is such a novel concept, to focus on the elfthat lives after the heroes pass on, remembering the good old days of their journeys.

The anime also symbolizes how nothing last forever, and how things can change in a short number of years, so to take advantage of that and live your life to the fullest while remembering every small possibly insignificant but beautiful thing that has happened along the way. Basically, nothing lasts forever, so why not make the most of it?
