Review of Tokyo Revengers

So, initially I thought Tokyo Revengers would be just like many other recent animes that suffer what I call "Attack on Titan Syndrome" overhyped for nothing. Well needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. I just endend the anime a couple days it to me untill the anime to fully realese to start whatching it as I thought it wasn't going to be that good. Now i view this similarly to Jujutsu Kaisen a anime which I personaly believe also suffers from "Attack on Titan Syndrome" although in Jujustu's case it delievered some of its hype but NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ALL of the hype itgot, its good but not that good... Well Tokyo Revengers is just spot on in so many different aspects and I really believe it to be the best 2021 anime.

What seemed a boring plot... but well it turned out to be a fantastic adventure through tokyo. Not going to lie Takemichi was underwhelming at first but he truly has a good evolution as the story goes, throughout all the failures at trying to save the life of the one he loves. His path to become the very top of one of Tokyo's greatest gangs despite his physical weakness compared to the monsters lurking around Tokyo gets such an epic note to it. The apearent villain know to him yet unable to tell his friends the fate that he is trying to stop from happening, but always failling as the villan seems to be a hard one to bring down.

It is truly a pleasent and thrilling experience all the way to the very end of the anime, that put me wanting more!!!! I now find myself in need to read the manga because of that final scene that just blew up my mind.

I enjoyed every second of the anime and although I do believe the anime is not perfect, as I did not gave it a 10, a 9 makes me comfortable knowing what a great anime this is. Recomment to every person to give it a try as you should to every other anime but specially this one.
