Review of Wonder Egg Priority: My Priority

So luckily for me I finished watching the series the day that the special was released. However even without the long wait I was utterly disappointed. Let me just give my thoughts on the general series first. I was really interested in the plot, I found it unique and loved the art style. However right from the bat I didnt expect some masterpiece, I was expecting to rate it at most a 7, but ended up only giving it a 5 because there wasnt enough content for me to even rate it properly, almost nothing was resolved and they just kept adding more and moreplot points which were never concluded.

The ending felt so empty I knew they would only be able to save some of it if they actually used up the whole 40 minutes of the special.

But of course not, half the special was a recap, which I understood given that people had to wait 3 months if they watched the anime when it was released, however what 13 ep anime needs 2 recap episodes?

That extra 20 minutes prior to the special couldve been used to conclude some parts of the plot so there was less theyd have to cram into the special. But actually its fine they didnt have to cram a bunch of conclusions into one 20 min episode, instead they just added more plot points and conflicts into the special and ended it on a teaser to a season 2??

Which frankly pissed me off because the way producers treated the staff for the production for this I doubt there will be a new season, atleast not one that could save the anime.
