Review of given

This anime will leave you intrigued, sad, and giddy all at the same time. The characters were interesting, and although it's a very short series, they definitely shined in their own ways. The introductions and flashbacks were smooth, and the love and care that was put into the music and jam session scenes were very impressive. Overall, the story is a short and emotional one, worth giving a watch. There is one reason I gave this series a 9 instead of a 10. There were certain relationships that I felt developed beautifully, but they were just missing that extra little push (Which may or maynot be resolved in the "Given" movie.) If they had that, this series would be an easy 10/10.
