Review of Chainsaw Man
Brings something new to the table and doesn't go too off the rails to what an anime is. A very nice new take Chainsaw man had with a few CGI scenes here and there throughout the anime which didn't bother me too much as most of the time the art style managed to fit the 2D style. The story and world building was fairly good with what the story was about, with it being in a modern setting with kind of monsters if you'd call them that interfering with normal peoples everyday lives. The plot and background story we know so far about Denji is good enoughfor the viewers to build a connection as we've been given enough information to know him almost inside out and to feel for him as he goes through issues and problems in the anime.
If there's a few things I thought were a bit much considering it's a 12 episode anime is that they didn't need a new outro song with animations specifically made for it at the end of every episodes, as much as it was good it wasn't needed and in hindsight just looks like those resources could've gone into the anime elsewhere.
Apart from that though that's really the only big negative that stood out to me.
So if you're looking at starting this by chance, although just from its score you don't really need much more persuasion. It's a decently put together anime which breathes a new to a degree breath of fresh air to anime but stays true to what an anime essentially is without changing too much. The music used is good to the CGI used and even the level of character and world building which keeps it fresh and entertaining. So unless you're looking to watch this with your family I'd say it's a good watch and will surely have more seasons to it.
