Review of Horimiya

I used to love reading shoujo manga but that was 10-11 years ago. After watching Horimiya, I was kinda " Wow... hold on !!! This is what a shoujo manga getting an anime adaptation looks like ??? Some points in this show is just doesn't feel right to me (a couple of high-school teenagers having a marriage proposal ???). The pace was weird IMO, I can't feel anything about the story except the last scene on ep 13. No emotions or thought was left after finishing it, just like Miyamura said to Hori "I don't know much about you" which give me the samefeeling about this show. I'd have meant to give it a 7 right after finishing the last episode but I will give it a 6 which is still very generous. The whole story doesn't have anything remarkable compare to the art which it should be vice-versa.
In short, shoujo tag should always stick to the manga rather than making it into an anime adaptation in most cases.
