Review of Lazarus

As much potential as this series originally had, I feel it was a bit of a letdown. The overly childish art style overall (especially of the tech and machinery) pales in comparison to Cowboy Bebop's extremely classy and imaginative one. Honestly, the plot really felt too rushed, as if the anime was originally supposed to be the standard 24 episodes but was shortened to 13 mid-production. The soundtrack was below mid, being shadowed even by the renewed Cowboy Bebop live-action soundtrack. I feel like they should've partnered with the Seatbelts again. I wouldn't recommend this anime to someone of the same age group as a cowboybebop fan, as this really makes a great anime for younger viewers. Overall, I feel like it could've been much, much better.
