Review of Trigun
Trigun is a show that goes underappreciated as an all-time great. It has one of the absolute best protagonists in anime history, Vash the Stampede. It's the ultimate story of a person whose reputation precedes them. Vash is this optimistic, nice guy in the dog-eat-dog world of the wild west, making him a complete deviation from the kind of people that world creates. Vash's nice guy nature causes people to completely mistake him for someone who is incompetent, allowing them to put their guard down just enough to be unable to capture him for the handsome bounty. Though, they're likely not good enough to capture himanyways. The beauty of this show is that Vash is the ultimate protagonist. A guy you feel like will always solve his problems with wit and grit every time they appear. He instills in you a sense of security that most anime protagonists fail to do. You want to root for him, and there's a sense of power that comes from seeing him succeed.
This show is one that has withstood the test of time. It's one that I would recommend for someone looking for a great story with one of the best main characters you could witness.
